Team of the Week: Northgate High School
After securing their first-ever victory against cross-town rivals Newnan, Northgate High School has earned the title of Team of the Week. Under the leadership of Kevin Whitley, the team kicked off the season with a perfect 4-0 record and celebrated with a Thursday morning pep rally broadcast live on Good Day Atlanta. The pep rallies for the first three Teams of the Week have been nothing short of spectacular. Northgate is setting its sights on the playoffs and is well on its way to achieving that goal.
Game of the Week: St. Pius X vs Southwest DeKalb
Southwest DeKalb has dominated their last three games, achieving a total score of 149 to zero. Meanwhile, Saint Pius remains undefeated, entering the matchup following two consecutive victories by 30 points each. Tonight's game is a pivotal regional showdown.
