
Tyler Fingert
Tyler Fingert joined the FOX 5 News team in July 2022.
Prior to moving to Atlanta, he spent four years working on the Gulf Coast at the FOX affiliate in Mobile/Pensacola covering all the big stories in that time, including the NAS Pensacola shooting and the many tropical storms & hurricanes that left a path of destruction in the region. While in Mobile, he got the once-in-a-lifetime flight in a Blue Angels' fighter jet.
Previously, he spent a year working as a producer at a TV station in Phoenix.
Tyler's reporting has taken him to Washington D.C. and Capitol Hill. He also reported from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. His stories have also aired on the PBS NewsHour and NPR's 'All Things Considered.'
Tyler grew up in South Florida but moved cross-country to attend the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s Degree.
